A website is a collection of related web pages, or a hypertext document that resides, through hosting, in a web server and accessible to clients that request it via a web browser on the World Wide Web of the Internet, typing in it the respective URL (eg https://emanuelechiari.net). From the point of view of the organization or structure of content typically a web site is structured in a home page, which is the main page of the presentation of the site and its content and secondary web pages of content, accessible from the menus and widgets on the home page itself via internal links (anchors) to the site itself. Often also a website you pair / coupled with a database on the same web server for storing structured data and information ( eg websites built with CMS type Joomla, WordPress or others … )
